Has practiced labor, employment and employee benefits law exclusively since 1999, representing clients in federal and state court litigation, including federal bankruptcy court litigation, as well as in administrative proceedings. Represents multi-employer employee fringe benefit trust funds to recover unpaid employer contributions under both federal and state law.
Prior to joining the firm, worked in Washington, DC as an attorney for the Service Employees International Union and a legal advisor to Member Carol Waller Pope of the Federal Labor Relations Authority. Also represented the Union of Needletrades, Industrial and Textile Employees in administrative proceedings before the NLRB, worked in the legal department of the United Mineworkers of America, and collected unpaid employer fringe benefit contributions on behalf of the Bricklayers and Trowel Trades International Pension Fund and other related Bricklayer employee fringe benefit trust funds.
