Has been with the firm since 1988, and a partner since 1994. Prior to joining the firm, practiced labor and immigration law in private firms and in legal aid programs for indigent farm workers.

Has handled many complex cases involving millions of dollars in collection and bankruptcy matters, some on a national basis.

Has drafted and provided expert testimony for legislation in California.

Has written for both the legal and popular press on labor law issues, and has been a speaker for International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, professional associations, continuing professional education, and community education.

Has practiced before the California and United States Supreme Courts.
