Has practiced labor law with the firm since graduating from law school in 1978. Lectured on labor law for the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee; UCLA Institute of Industrial Relations; Los Angeles Community College; and the American Arbitration Association.

Special expertise in federal and state court litigation, collective bargaining negotiations, construction industry labor law, and public sector labor law.

Has represented numerous AFL-CIO unions, including Laborers, Operating Engineers, AFSCME and Postal Workers.

Provides ERISA counsel to multi-employer benefit plans.
